The season is now over and the team management has now allowed the riders to take a short break from racing before the next season is upon us.
Season 26 has given us 2 wins and 12 results even though we started the season lying in division 8. Even the Race of the Minutemen didn't go too well either but with the signing of Inocentiu Lobont, the team has rocketed up to finish the season on 568 points, a team personal best.
The team will begin next season racing in the 3rd division, with the team's goal being to stay there until day 27, for the sign up of the Norway Tour. Norway Tour is a tour that would ring a bell for some fans, it was added early on in the OCM tour's beginnings but was quickly withdrawn after logistic and financial difficulties. However, the Norway Tour is back and has attracted the attention of a few teams already.
And with 9 stages through the wonderful countryside, it's easy to know why.
Karsten de Maerschalk will hopefully compete for the leaders jersey in TF, but there is still some work to do. The team still needs to get another 80 or so points until there place is booked but ryant is contemplating planning a season without the customary Race of the Minutemen on the calendar.
Monte Rosa has also been circled as a potential race but Karsten de Maerschalk will not be leading the team, that role would have to be given to Inocentiu Lobont but ryant stated that the trip to Switzerland would be unlikely but if we get the points we need to get to Norway then "nothing would hold us back".
